98. Yellow Side Bloom Flower in Paint Pouring

Hello my friends! 🌸
In today’s video, I’m creating a side bloom flower using a very simple fluid art technique.

I lay down beautiful colors of Azo Yellow, Quinacridone rose and a Custom Purple, puddle the paint, and then add Payne’s Gray cell activator. Using my blow dryer, I gently blow the paint to form the flower and finish by spinning it out to reveal the bloom.

This is an easy and relaxing technique that’s perfect for beginners and fun for all levels. I hope this video inspires you to enjoy the process and have fun creating.

📌PAINT COLORS IN THIS PAINTING
Azo Yellow
Quinacradone Rose
Custom Purple

📌 PILLOW PAINT
PPG Multipro, white base in eggshell

📌 POURING MEDIUM
3 parts Glidden Premium Base 3 in semigloss or eggshell
Then, mix in 2 parts Minwax Polycrylic Crystal Clear Topcoat in gloss.

📌 PAINTS
Mix 3 parts pouring medium with 1part paint plus water to thin to desired thickness depending on which technique you'll be using.

📌 PIGMENTS
Add a small amount of Varnish to a cup, then add your pigments to wet and mix. Add the rest of the pouring medium and mix.

📌CELL ACTIVATOR
Australian floetrol mixed with Amsterdam Paynes Gray (3:1)
