We kickstarted our holiday with a little visit to a small island off the west coast of Jutland. I cannot believe I had never before been to Fanø before. It was delightful, quaint, friendly and so easy to get around. It helped that the weather was fantastic, but in any weather, the beaches are something else. And the villages are the definition of Danish 'hygge.' I hope you enjoy it :-)
