Why Everyone Hates Ash Ketchum

Pokemon has a tonne of iconic characters. The mascot Pikachu, the original legendary Pokemon Mewtwo, the "we need to sell this" Pokemon Charizard, and the Pokemon that left kids all over the world trying to move a truck, mew. But When it comes down to non Pokemon characters, I think the most famous is probably ash. And why wouldn't he be? He's been the protagonist of the anime series for 2 decades now. That being said, despite him being so involved in the franchise, he is definitely not the most popular character for most people. In fact, a big percent of the Pokemon community actually really dislike him, but I really don't think it's all too justified. So today we are going to be taking a look at Why people hate or even just dislike Ash, and why I think he is actually a pretty great character. So the main reasons people have for disliking Ash are Not aging, Not winning an Elite 4 Challenge, Not being Red, and not being a good trainer. So with all that being said, Let’s dive into it.
