Haney's "big house" is what patrons of the famous beer joint/ cafe and nightclub lovingly called it over in Ferriday where the 3 famous cousins were born. Rumor has it that Jimmy Swaggart and Jerry Lee Lewis would sneak down to 4th Street and into the back door of Haney's when the music was playing at night... Jerry Lee wanted to hear the boogie woogie sound coming from their old piano. I'll bet Will Haney had run those boys off so many times that he started looking the other way when they came in. But Jerry Lee Lewis was well versed in the songs he heard and this was probably one of them.
