Parsee's Theme | "Green Eyed Jealousy" ~ Piano Cover

Solo piano arrangement for Parsee's Theme, "Green Eyed Jealousy" for early-advanced level pianists. Mizuhashi Parsee is the stage 2 boss in Touhou 11: Subterranean Animism.

Green Eyed Jealousy has this kind of melancholic nature to it, and I tried to capture that as much as I could in this piano arrangement. I'm actually quite satisfied with the arangement itself. It's a very simple piano arrangement with only a few difficult sections, yet in theory I believe it could sound beautiful if performed professionally. I enjoyed making the arrangement more than practicing it, but it's a lot of fun to play; there's so much room for improv with how simple the song is! It also just works really well for the piano in general.

I've been enjoying the touhou series a lot recently, and Subterranean Animism is my favorite so far! The music and gameplay in touhou is amazing, and it's been a huge inspiration for me to return to music after being away from it for so long.

I recently got a new job that requires me to move away from home, and I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to bring my keyboard with me. In light of this, I ended up rushing preparations for this performance, and I'm actually quite unsatisfied with it. With a bit more practice, I feel that I could do a much better performance... and I don't really have any good equipment for recording this. The mic peaks a couple times in this recording, and it's far away from the keyboard, yet you can still hear the creaking of my bench. I don't really know how to make the sound quality better, all I personally have experience with is performing live on a stage. I think this is a terrible demonstration of this arrangement; however, some friends and family urged me to upload this anyway, so here it is.
