Auxito Audi TT 8J Mk2 LED CANbus BRIGHT reverse light upgrade & how to remove tail light guide

Upgrading to LED bulbs in the Audi TT Mk2 can be tricky where a lot of people report errors showing up on their dash after installation or the lights tend to flicker.

I’ve had one of my rear indicator bulbs go so thought to upgrade while in the process of replacing.

I found these Auxito (sorry about the pronunciation in the video) CANbus compatible LED T15 / W16W globes which do the job perfectly! Removing the tail light is a super quick and easy thing to do since the toolkit in the boot has everything you need. Once the tail light housing is opened it’s simply a matter of pull out the old/broken halogen bulb and push in the LED CANbus compatible bulb.


Such a quick and easy mod which gives much greater light output VS the halogen gobes (I can really tell the difference especially in low light/night time). The globes for the rear tail lights that the TT 8J takes in the reverse and indicator positions are W16W or T15 fitment.
