Today the Samsung is washing towels on the dedicated Towels 60° cycle. This cycle does shorter tumbling than the standard cottons cycle, as well as an extra rinse and longer interim spins as standard.
The machine has a tough time balancing this load as there is a bathmat in it - this was genuinely the only time I had seen the machine struggle to spin, usually it would spin first time.
You can also hear the pronounced noise on this load from the faulty suspension, which was the reason why this machine was returned.
