This is one of the most basic things in learning to draw are the edges. This is one of the easiest things to learn in art that will skyrocket your ability. I consider this one of the corner stones of learning to shade. This video will be more specific to the art of charcoal. I go over more about how to use the charcoal pencil in a way that the paper takes better.
