It is believed that Brahma Deva Himself performed sacred rituals here during the holy month of Magha Masa.
Magha Masa is considered extremely auspicious for spiritual practices, yajnas, and ancestral offerings. Unfortunately, this profound tradition was interrupted during British rule. Today, Kerala is blessed to witness the revival of this grand spiritual gathering on the sacred banks of River Nila.
This Kumbh Mela is a great fortune for the people of Kerala and for all devotees. It symbolizes the unity of North and South Bharata, bringing together diverse spiritual traditions on one sacred platform. The holy presence of revered Gurus and divine energies will grace this occasion.
