In this interview clip we dive into the world of B2B marketplaces with VC investor and FJ labs founder Fabrice Grinda. With FJ Labs taking the number one spot in both the US and Europe for backing the most number of startups, we discuss the firm's thesis and how it prioritizes investments in B2B product marketplaces. While FJ is also investing in service marketplaces and other models, we focus on the state of product marketplaces in the B2B segment. According to Grinda, we're just at the beginning of this journey, with B2B marketplaces having barely any penetration in digital. The entire supply chain, including ERP integration, payments, tracking, and supplier involvement, needs to be digitized to unlock the full potential. This is why B2B marketplaces are FJ's current main area of focus, with endless opportunities both in the US and globally.
