Poulenc's very brief 5th Nocturne is entitled "Phalènes" or "Moths", and depicts their erratic flight. I like to imagine that you're about to close an open window at night before retiring, and a moth flies into the room. You then spend the next minute and a half chasing it about in order to encourage it to leave!
Played on my new Bechstein Residence R6 piano by Christopher Matthews.
