'Chilambu' , A solo Bharathanatyam thematic presentation based on Pottan Theyyam by Haritha Thamban

Pottan Theyyam is one of the Dancing Gods of North Malabar, Kerala. Thottam pattu, a typical singing pattern of Theyyam is used along with Karnatic music for this bharathanatyam performance. Story of Shiva who took Chandala roopa(untouchable) and create arguments with Shankaracharya who was in journey to' Sarvajna Peeta' to make him realise humanity and remove social evils like racism, caste-ism etc. This is one of the strongest secular ideas in folklores of Kerala.
