How To Hit Down On The Golf Ball (Without Getting Steep!)

So often we see golfers who are told to hit down on the golf ball and consequently get steep in their downswing. Let's fix that!

In this video, fellow Milo Lines Golf coach, Henry Fall and I look at a couple different ways of hitting down and creating that downward angle of attack we are all desiring for irons and wedges. We also look back, highlighting Tony Finau and his junior golf days where he learned a more shallow approach to hitting down thanks to his makeshift practice station in his garage. And a little drill you can do to sweep that ball clean off the turf!
