In this video you can follow me on a 3,5 km park orienteering run in Malmö, Sweden.
This run is part of a traditional series of summer events taking place in parks and various urban areas in and around Malmö, Sweden. There's just one course around 3,5 km and these events attract up to 3-400 runners.
ORIENTEERING MISTAKES YOU CAN LEARN FROM
My biggest mistake was after control 8, where I continued straight on - out in the open field. This is a fairly typical type of error, which could easily have been prevented:
It's fairly common for orienteers to seek out in open, bright areas. But here it's just a detour.
