A Cosy Scottish Cottage Christmas 🎄 | Traditional Tree, New Puppy & Winter Village Life | Episode 66

This week we’re embracing a cosy, traditional Christmas in our old Scottish cottage 🎄❄️

We decorate the cottage for Christmas with garlands, stockings and a traditional Christmas tree, creating the ultimate festive atmosphere by the fire. But as we hang the stockings, there’s one question… who do we need a fourth one for?

Welcome the newest member of our family — Alfie, our gorgeous Labrador puppy 🐾
Join us as we pick him up and bring him home for his very first evening in the cottage. Benji isn’t quite sure about this energetic new arrival at first (those needle-sharp puppy teeth! 😬), but as the week goes on, the two become the best of pals ❤️

Among the festive chaos, Johnny writes out Christmas cards by the fire, hoping to catch the last post, before heading out on a frosty winter walk through our rural Scottish village with Benji and Alfie to the village post box — a truly quaint and traditional winter scene.

We also continue work on the cottage as Johnny paints the home office/study, bringing last week’s bespoke workstation plans closer to reality. But mid-painting, disaster strikes — a power cut plunges the cottage into darkness 🕯️
With no electricity and no cooking, we settle in for a simple ploughman’s lunch, plenty of cheese, red wine, candles, and Adam’s antique oil lamp, enjoying a cosy evening by the fire with the dogs.
