God Gave Me A Divine Download (Day 19/100)

One night at Bible study, God broke my heart and gave me an assignment. 🧡
In this video (Day 19/100), I'm sharing the origin story of Culture Shift—the vision that changed everything.

It started when a woman shared about a young boy in the foster care system who was admitted to the psych ward for suicidal thoughts. He was about my age when I first experienced suicidal ideation. That broke me.
I came home that night and wrestled with God: "How do we save kids like this?"

That's when He gave me the divine download:
Culture Shift is Marvel, but with Jesus. We're reimagining the 12 disciples as modern-day superheroes in training. Instead of superpowers, they unlock spiritual gifts. Instead of fighting villains, they combat dark forces on earth. It's a cinematic universe built around faith training—not superhero training.

God told me it would be bigger than Marvel. That's terrifying.
So I asked Him for help, and He showed me my friend Verlenzo. I told him the vision, and he was all in.
But here's the hard part: Last April, my dad passed unexpectedly. A few months later, Verlenzo's sister passed. We're both navigating grief while carrying this massive assignment.

This is the story of how Culture Shift was born—and why we're building it anyway.
