A: A 4 beep pattern is usually referring to a RAM error. Have you tried the RAM test seen here?

Q: What do I do if my computer beeps 7 times?
A: A 7 beep pattern is usually referring to a CPU failure. Run the Dell Diagnostic Test as seen here;    • How To Fix Gamer Boot Loop Restarting Erro...  . If an issue with your CPU, it will have to be replaced. Its also possible the CPU is fine and its the Motherboard that has gone bad, as they tend to go bad before the CPU. Up to you which to swap out first. CPU would be easier. (Note: Some viewers have reported a RAM issue to be the cause of their 7 beep pattern)

Q: What if my computer beeps 8 times?
A: Some people mistake a 4 beep repeating pattern for 8. However, if your computer is beeping 8 times, its most likely an older Dell computer, and it would mean an LCD failure. Try reseating the LCD Cable. Then, if that does not work, replace the cable. If that does not work, replace the LCD.
