This is video #25 in my playthrough of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Previously, the party explored the Barrel Volcano. After defeating the Czar Dragon and the Axem Rangers, they claimed Star Piece 6. Only one remains!
Back in Nimbus Land, they report into King and Queen Nimbus. The only place left to search is Bowser's Keep, so King Nimbus lets the party use the royal bus of Nimbus Land.
Northwest of Nimbus Land Castle, the party finds the bus stop for the royal bus. The driver transports them northeast to the entrance to Bowser's Keep. Bowser is delighted to be back home.
Before exploring Bowser's Keep, though, the party returns to Moleville. The mushroom guy in the shop is selling a new weapon. It is his third offering, a metal plate that costs 300 coins. It is the Frying Pan, Toadstool's best weapon. She can actually do decent physical damage with this.
Then, the party begins exploring Bowser's Keep. If Bowser is in the active lineup, he will scare off some of the weaker monsters, which is A-OK in my book.
Croco is located at the first save block. He sells items and the same armor that Hinopio sells.
Past Croco, there are six doors. There are two action courses, two battle courses, and two puzzle courses. The courses are determined at random when you get here. Only four courses need to be passed to get through, and the action courses and battle courses offer the best rewards.
I start off by showing the puzzle courses, just for completion. The prize for each is a Rock Candy.
Then, I restart and show the action courses. The reward for one action course is the Sonic Cymbal, the best weapon for Mallow. The other action course's reward is the Super Slap, which is NOT Toadstool's best weapon.
Next time, the party will continue through Bowser's Keep.
Thanks for watching!
