Aliwan Fiesta -- dubbed as the Philippines' festival of champions -- takes to the streets anew on April 14-16. Presented by Manila Broadcasting Company, Star City, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines, in cooperation with the cities of Manila and Pasay, the annual cultural extravaganza brings together in a single setting champion streetdance contingents from all over the archipelago, vying for the million-peso grand prize in the festival dance competition.
Aliwan Fiesta is now on its eighth year, with the grand culminating parade on April 16 kicking off at the Quirino grandstand, and moving towards an outdoor stage in front of the Aliw Theater at the CCP Complex, where the awarding ceremonies will be held
