Teja Gerken and Flynn Cohen, "Si Bheag Si Mhor" | Peghead Nation

Composed by Turlough O’Carolan (1670 – 1738), “Si Bheag Si Mhor” is perhaps the Irish harper’s most famous tune, with a solid place in the contemporary Irish repertoire as both a session favorite and a popular solo guitar tune. When Peghead Nation instructor Flynn Cohen was recently in our studio to shoot lessons, we rolled cameras as Peghead Nation Co-founder Teja Gerken and Flynn tried their hands at playing a duo version of the tune. 

Teja is playing his Martin Custom Shop OM in CGCGCD tuning with a capo at the second fret, and Flynn is playing his Martin 00-18V in Drop-D tuning.
