For some time now, some R142s from the 2/5 lines end up being spotted along the 1 line beyond 96 St to make there way to the 207th Street Yard. Some of these 142s were Vandalized and/or broken and need to head to the 207 shops for repairs.

The 1 line is IRTs prime way of sending equipment to/from The 207th St Yard, but for the IND and BMT, they use the A line that leads from Dyckman St into 207ths Tracks towards the Barn and the Outer layup tracks...
207th St Yard is the main Overhaul Shop for the IRT while IND-BMT Has Coney Island Overhaul Shops.
