My Mother Betty Tatum and her family lived on Dunn and this is just one of the stories she told. Using her stories and searching cemetery records, Shelby county death records, and commercial appeal records but more importantly my mamas stories. I create these stories connecting places to tombstones. For behind every marker or memorial is a person to be remembered.
