Oldway mansion is located in Paignton, Devon, south West of England and was built in around 1871 for Isaac Singer founder of the Singer sewing machine company. Opposite the mansion is the Rotunda which is a round building witch was used for exercise and as a horse riding pavillon.
Behind the rotunda is the building that housed the squash courts witch as you can see the roof has caved in. The council puchased the mansion off the Singer family in 1946 and it was used as offices up until the council closed it in 2013 and has been left to decay ever since. There is a group of local volunteers who look after the grounds and gardens as that explains why the grounds look well kept.
