Ludo...Ludo...Ludo...he has always been a fearless and funny boy. Here he is, just over 1.5 years old, trying to speak Goun (also spelled Gun) and Yoruba for the first time with his great-great-aunt. This is one of our favorite memories! 🥰

Goun is an off-shoot language (and people) from Fon. Fon is the most spoken native language in Benin. Fon people and Goun people can speak to each other in their respective dialect and have a full-blown conversation! Goun people are mostly from the Porto-Novo area.
