Novel Synopsis:
In the second year of our marriage, my parents jokingly asked when Fabian and I would get our marriage certificate and have a baby.
He was quick to answer, “Let’s wait a little longer.”
I seriously calculated the timing and said, “I’ll try to get pregnant within three months, so the baby can be born next spring.”
Fabian was upset that I made decisions on my own and spent the whole night out with a pregnant woman.
As the planned time drew nearer, I had no choice but to dial the number of his archenemy, blushing as I spoke:
“Do you have time tonight? I just need to borrow three minutes of your time… to help me get pregnant with a Fu family heir.”
The man on the other end nearly exploded:
“Three minutes? Are you trampling on my dignity?
“Just you wait.”
