After a good deal of looking, I found the origins of this song. It's an original theme from ZUN's music CD, Changeability of Strange Dream. It's not featured in any game, but that's no reason to count the song out. As far as the remix goes, it's not that bad. It's a nice fast paced version of an originally slow and calm song. For some semblance of convenience, I added a download link to the original song at the bottom of the description. Check it out if you're interested. By the way, you can find all of ZUN's music CD's on Doujin Style. It took me a good while to realize that, which made up most of my time searching for this theme...
