Today's installment brings us to the public sidewalks outside this Erewhon store to exercise our right to record. We had multiple points of contact ranging from friendly people blowing us a kiss to those a bit more hostile towards our presence. One of the points of contact that stood out was a couple who had just parked, and as they were about to pass by us on their way into the store, stopped to ask what was going on? The woman started in with telling us that she didn't give us permission to take a photo of her or her car. I let her know permission wasn't needed, just the same as her not needing my permission to drive her car. They continued into the store. On their wat out, she could be seen in her car giving us a couple of peace signs, so it was good to see her maybe lighten up a bit. Police arrived on the scene prior, from my guess after an encounter we had with one of the store employees. He came out to ask what was going on & told us we needed to keep the driveway clear. I told him to be quiet & reminded him that pedestrians have the right of way. He got on his phone a couple minutes later & that's when I'm guessing a call was placed to police. The store employee met with officers towards the back of the parking lot to chat with them from the patrol car. After their discussion, the officers proceeded to exit the lot, thankfully, without making any contact with us.
Please feel free to chime in below with your comments on this one & I thank you for taking time out of your day to watch!
