Endoscopic Marker – Overview of STERIS’s GI Marker Solution for Endoscopic Procedures

STERIS’s Endoscopic Marker offers a ready-to-use solution for indicating target tissue and lesions with a dark mark during endoscopic procedures in the stomach or colon. Gastrointestinal (GI) markers provide a reference point for subsequent removal of the tissue area for resection or evaluation. The Endoscopic Marker is indicated for use when the endoscopist anticipates the lesion will require surgical removal within 30 days.

This endoscopic tattoo agent is single-use and sterile. Blister packaging acts as a sterile barrier and protects against cross-contamination, maintaining sterility after manufacturing until usage.

STERIS’s prefilled endoscopic marker features a non-toxic formulation with 5ml of medical-grade carbon black marking fluid that does not migrate. The product has a stable suspension of the ink, so no shaking is necessary.
