In today’s video I’m talking about losing my period during a dieting phase, the symptoms I experienced at the time, and what I’ve changed now to support my health while still being in a calorie deficit
This is a vlog style video, so alongside that I’m also showing how I meal prep and weigh my food, navigating nights out while dieting, how I do my going out makeup as someone who's pale and has quit fake tan and I also talk about making gym friends
I’m not a doctor, I’m a personal trainer sharing my own experience. If you struggle with an ED, this video could be triggering and might not be the right watch for you. My goal isn’t to scare anyone away from dieting, but to help you avoid the mistakes I made so you don’t end up feeling as awful as I did.
When I lost my period, it came with things like extreme fatigue, brain fog, digestion issues, dizziness, and very low energy ,and those symptoms didn’t just go away after a week of eating more or resting. It took a few months for me to feel like myself again.
If you’re dieting as a woman, I hope this video helps you understand the difference between normal “can’t be bothered” tiredness and actual fatigue that your body needs you to listen to 🤍
