I spent no money to build this motor stand for my outboard boat motor and I show how quickly and easily you can build a stand for your boat outboard engine using common power tools at home. Outboard marine engines are best stored vertically, and you can build a quick and easy outboard motor stand quickly!

This homemade motor stand was built entirely from wood I had around my house. I used two 2x4 scraps, one 2x8 piece that was 4 ft. long. and two wooden pieces from a shipping crate. This video shows how I put it all together to make a decent engine stand for my outboard motor in less than an hour!
