✅ What You’ll Learn:
The GST Portal has introduced a new feature called the Invoice Management System (IMS). This system allows taxpayers to accept, reject, or keep invoices pending for future use. It helps businesses match their invoices with those issued by suppliers to claim the correct Input Tax Credit (ITC).
IMS will be available from 14th October and will make GST compliance easier, faster, and more accurate. While using IMS is optional, any invoice with no action taken will be considered accepted by default and shown in GSTR-2B. Taxpayers can change their invoice status until they file GSTR-3B for the month.
