Dr. Don Frazier with McMurry History Department in Abilene Texas talks with Red Steagall about the cattle industry in west Texas and the early settlers and how important the grass was to devolvement in that part of the country. The buffalo hunters were there first then the cattle industry then the settlers. The early settlers built Rath City also known as Reynolds City and was a deer camp for 1 1/2 years. Fort Griffin was near by and had all the offerings that a base town usually has to offer. This is from Red's OFFICIAL youtube channel. In 2009 Red launched his television show, IN THE BUNKHOUSE WITH RED STEAGALL, seen on RFD TV. It ran for four years. His current show on RFD TV is entitled RED STEAGALL IS SOMEWHERE WEST OF WALL STREET. On this channel Red is going to share his TV show episodes as well as never seen before clips that because of time restraints could not be included in his episodes airing on RFD. Singer, songwriter, poet, author and cowboy Red Steagall, hosts his award winning weekly TV show Red Steagall Is Somewhere West of Wall Street aires on RFD-TV on Mondays at 8:30 PM (CST), Tuesdays at 12:30 AM (CST) and Sundays at 6:00 AM (CST).
