NO CEMENT ALL? NO PROBLEM!
For those who don't use Cement All and use a combination of cement, plaster and sand mixture this is for you. My cement, plaster and sand mixture is: 1/2 plaster, 1/4 cement and 1/4 sand. In addition my water follows the same number as my plaster so if for example my plaster is 100 grams my water is 100 grams. With that said, in this video we discovered that my contents equaled 980 grams. That would break down to 490 grams of plaster, 245 grams of cement and 245 grams of sand. Being that my water and plaster number is the same we would have to add 490 grams of water.
To make the math easier, let's say your mixture is a 3 part mixture. 1/3 plaster, 1/3 sand & cement and 1/3 water. Notice I placed the sand & cement together. Again that is just to make the math easier.
Now once you stir your mixture together and add it to the mixing bowl you should have leftover content that you placed in a cup. That number, most likely is 230 grams (give or take). So, let's calculate and break down the 230 grams and 3 part mixture.
33% of 230 = 77grams of plaster.
33% of 230 = 77grams of water.
33% of 230 = 77grams of sand & cement or 38.5g sand & 38.5g cement.
Subtract that from the original calculation from above.
490g - 77g = 413g of plaster
490g - 77g = 413g of sand & cement or 206.5g sand 206.5g cement
490g - 77g = 413g of water.
Let's take those numbers and round them down to the nearest 100th.
That means for the silicone mold in this video your mixture should be as follows:
400g of plaster
400g of sand & cement or 200g sand & 200g cement
400g of water.
And with that formula you have no left over waste.
