Dream Theater - Hell's Kitchen (Instrumental) - Split-Screen Covers

My friends and I were all in a collaborative projects class at NYU in the fall of 2011, where we learned how to collaborate with other live performers around the world. In this class, we also discovered our mutual interest in the music of Dream Theater, and it inspired us to make a performance of our own.

For the midterm project for this class, I recorded the audio and video for Travis' drum track. We then took the video and played it on a screen behind myself and Trevor, our guitarist, who performed the song live to the video track, and with Grace, our keyboardist (who was on a different floor of the building we were performing in) on another screen, all simultaneously.

After the completion of the performance, Grace, Trevor, and myself decided that we should record our parts, similarly to the way Travis' part was recorded, and to make the video you are watching!

We are all really happy with how the video turned out, and we hope you enjoy it!
