How to Install, Customize, and Patch DWM (2026 Edition) | Full Guide

This is a quick and painless tutorial on how to install DWM, the dynamic window manager. (This was done on Arch Linux in this tutorial, but can be done on any distro of your choice.)

Prerequisites (on Arch Linux): base-devel, git, xorg-server, xorg-xinit
