Can modern welfare actually get better with lower costs? - Yes, by paying for results says social innovator and impact investment professional Henrik Storm Dyrssen. In this talk he reveals how a new form of social and financial innovation may hold the key to the future of the modern welfare state. In Sweden it was dubbed the welfare innovation of the year. Henrik brought the Social Impact Bond framework from the UK to Sweden, initiating the transformation of one of the worlds most-talked-about welfare systems, Scandinavia, into a new age of payment for results and collaboration to solve pressing social problems. His initiative was the first private initiative to receive the prize for Welfare Innovation of the Year in Sweden (2016).
