How to paint a Poinsettia flower - Watercolour tutorial

This video shows how to paint a Poinsettia flower using watercolour paints. I usually paint watercolor flowers in a very realistic style so this poinsettia painting is another attempt at a more 'loose' and expressive approach. In my tutorial, I show you how to paint this watercolor poinsettia from start to finish, using both watercolors in tubes and half pans. I'm being inspired by the artist Jean Haines at the moment with her very watery and expressive painting. You can see her work at:
