A quick little video on dividing and planting clumps of Snowdrop / Galanthus nivalis flower bulbs in our jungle garden today 'in the green' - not exotic but a perfect little winter / spring flower to brighten up the shady areas of the woodland style garden. They're the earliest flowering bulb and what they don't have in colour and stature they definitely make up for with gracefulness and being a well-loved UK garden favourite, perfect for seasonal pots plus containers and even the smallest garden. Dividing bulbs after flowering but when they still have foliage - literally 'in the green' is a really easy way of propagating clump forming flower bulbs and should lead to them establishing quicker than shop bought bulbs in autumn. It's also a great budget gardening tip, I'm all about free plants and more beauty in the garden!
