Just over two months into the year, Marvel still has an incredibly busy year ahead of it. There are several Marvel universe projects in the works, including a Black Panther spin-off series on Disney+, Eyes of Wakanda, scheduled to begin on August 6. The holiday season looks like it'll be fairly quiet for Marvel though, with just the genre-bending Wonder Man slated for a December theater release.

While Rise of the Hydra takes players back in time, another game is under development that will be focused on the current iteration of Black Panther. The game is currently under development by Cliffhanger Games, a division of EA that's solely focused on bringing the movie into the world of video games. However, there's not much information known yet about this game and it may be a while before we get to play through the experience. This means that the alleged Christmas release of Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra comes at a perfect time for any fans who are ready for a new Marvel video game.
