今年も、もうそんな季節が来てしまったんですね。
私の棚募でも、黒松の葉透かしを始めましたよ。
まずは、今年芽切りをしなかった木から作業しました。
芽切りをしなかった木は、すでに今年の芽が落ち着いているので作業しやすいです。
前年の葉をほぼ取り除き、今年の葉の数を調整しておきました。
この作業は、早いほどに来春の芽吹きが良くなると言われています。
In my garden, I have started hasukasi pruning.
As usual, I started work with the black pine, which were not mekiri-pruned this year.
The buds that sprouted this spring have already settled down.
Most of last year's needles were removed, and this year's ones were reduced moderately.
This process allows the tree to improve ventilation and light access.
Also, the sooner this hasukashi pruning is done, the better the tree will bud in spring.
