Hidden Trails of Red River Gorge: Hiking to Cloud Splitter and the Indian Staircase

A hike (~12 miles) along the Sheltowee Trace and other nearby trails.
To reach the trailhead from Slade, travel west on KY 11/15 and then turn right onto KY 77. Follow 77 through Nada Tunnel and across the Red River to KY 715. Follow 715 approximately 2.5 miles to a gravel road on the right that leads to a parking area.
Note: This video depicts only a tiny fraction of the vast wilderness around the Red River. Plan ahead to avoid dehydration, exhaustion, inclement weather, and dangerous falls. Getting lost will obviously exacerbate all the above risks.
