Tutorial: Double Knit Button Band - Champagne Cardigan by Petite Knit - Mostly Knitting Podcast

In this video I demonstrate my process from start to finish with picking up stitches and creating the double knit button band for the Champagne Cardigan by Petite Knit.

I chose to knit a narrower button band of 11sts instead of the pattern width of 15sts. This was mostly due to me having a limited amount of yarn and not wanting to run out. I think it worked well as i downsized the pattern a bit for me as well, as it was going to have too much positive ease for me.

Other than that, i followed Petite Knit's method where you cut the yarn. In Florence's Step by Step Cardigan, she has a method where you don't need to cut the yarn so you might want to check that out as well. I only discovered that AFTER making mine.
