My first full day in Osaka, Japan… and what a ride it was. From navigating the city for the first time to chasing down some of the most iconic spots, this day set the tone for the rest of the trip.
I kicked things off by grabbing my transport card and jumping straight into the rhythm of the city. First stop: Osaka Castle — a historic icon surrounded by beautiful park grounds and some seriously cinematic views.
After that, I headed to EQI by Colony for lunch, a sleek and modern spot that gave me the perfect recharge before diving deeper into the city.
Then I wandered through the vibrant, electric lanes of Dotonbori, neon lights glowing overhead and the city buzzing in every direction.
From the chaos, I made my way to Shitennō-ji Temple, one of Japan’s oldest Buddhist temples — a peaceful, grounding moment in the middle of Osaka.
To wrap things up, I ended at Hitachi Tower (Tsutenkaku), watching Osaka glow as the evening settled in.
