Originally published September 11th, 2022. I purchased a pair of the 18TB "white label" hard drives from ‪@DigitalSpaceport‬. What exactly are these drives and why are they so cheap? I'll show my process for provisioning new drives (labeling, partitioning, formatting) along with some price calculations for various size drives and their power consumption.
