Join pilot Mike for the maiden flight of the Pilot-RC Matrix 73" jet, powered by a Swiwin 80 turbine. While the aircraft was initially tail-heavy and exhibited ballooning on landing, it showed excellent in-flight characteristics—holding track well and making smooth, coordinated turns. After installing the AG-68 brake gyro, braking performance greatly improved. The jet also reached speeds of approximately 150 mph during testing. Overall, it proved to be easy to land and a promising setup with just minor adjustments needed.
