A look into something most people have never seen. A massive 24/7, 365 a day year massive gold mine in Nevada. The days of finding the easy gold is long over, and it's now the microscopic gold that is being mined along the Carlin Trend. Though there is still large nuggets being pulled from this mine, and others.
Also a old mining town that only has four residents that is never shown on YouTube. After the Comstock Lode had run its course in Virginia City. Miners moved further into the heart of Nevada, and hit huge loads.
Prior to this mine being a huge open pit operation. There was a large mountain that stood where this massive pit is. The mountain which was tunneled through by the old timers was brought down to nothing.
