1970 Yamaha R5 350 Restored SOLD

Freshly restored all original 1970 Yamaha R5C up for grabs. 6,497 original miles.

This is Yamaha's first run at the two stoke street bikes, it is the bike that came before the RD and RZ.

I just got done going through the entire bike, removing pitting from chrome and replacing all gaskets, seals, brake pads, fluids ect.

Everything on the bike has been rebuilt. Oil injection system, gas tank cleaned, carbs rebuilt and tuned, brand new tires exhaust baffles cleaned / new gaskets, engine was rebuilt 500 miles ago, forks rebuilt, restored gauges, all lights and indicators work.

Bike has some light pitting on some chrome parts that was not able to be removed, everything on it is original and I didn't want to go through the re chroming process.

Original paint, tank has slight dent (pictured) and some light scratches -- again, I didn't want to repaint because paint is original. Even the grips are original in this Bike.

Bike always starts up first kick!

Runs great, super fun little cafe racer here.
