In the Kherson region, servicemen of the 80th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Federation are massively refusing to sign new contracts for further service in the army. This was reported by the partisan movement "Atesh" through its Telegram channel .
According to their data, the overwhelming majority of fighters do not want to remain in the zone of active combat operations. "People are extremely exhausted, morally broken and lacking motivation. Constant losses among personnel and the complete indifference of the leadership have turned service into a continuous test even for those who previously demonstrated loyalty," the movement notes.
In connection with this, a commission has been created in the unit to determine the reasons for the mass refusals to extend contracts. At the same time, documents are being prepared on the possible punishment of the command staff, the partisans add.
In turn, the representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Sergei Bratchuk, stated that Russian soldiers are again trying to land on the islands and create bridgeheads for further advancement to the right bank of the Kherson region. "A lot of 200s remain on the islands, and 300s also remain, who later also turn into 200s. Because of this, the morale of the occupation forces remains low. However, they are forced to go on assaults - because these are Russians who are still ready to be cannon fodder," the representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army summed up on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
As reported earlier , the Russian army continues to force the Dnieper in the Kherson region. In addition, in the temporarily occupied Kakhovka, the Russians may deliberately create problems with electricity in order to limit communication.
The partisans also reported that the occupiers went against the command and sabotaged orders in the Kherson region . Thus, the occupiers from the 205th motorized rifle brigade refuse to attack the Ukrainian Armed Forces and deliberately slow down preparations for new operations. In particular, among the occupiers who act as drivers, many break their cars and are in no hurry to repair them, justifying such a delay by a shortage of spare parts and the complexity of repairs.
"The servicemen responsible for weapons and boats are delaying the signing of invoices, deliberately allowing many errors in the documents. This interferes with normal supplies and slows down preparations for combat operations," added Atesh.
In this way, Russian servicemen are trying to gain time before rotation and wait until their unit is withdrawn to the rear. Because of this, the enemy command is facing increasingly strong resistance and the level of sabotage is growing every day.
In turn, the head of the Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, believes that today the goal of the Russian Federation is to create the illusion of control over the entire Kherson region for negotiations. That is why the assaults continue in four places.
