In this video we demonstrate using an oscillating cutting tool to trim carbon fiber parts. We also go over a few tips in using the tool which are:
1. Leave an offset between the blade cut and your desired final part dimension to give a safety margin for mistakes.
2. Use good lighting so you can see your cut.
3. Keep the blade moving to prevent generating excess heat.
4. Use the whole blade to extend the life of the blade.
5. Make a test cut to get a feel for how the cutting tool will perform on the particular material you are trying to cut.
