They chat right as they crest the most exposed portion of the entire run over a complete no-fall zone(it's a vertical face, over 55 degs and you go right over cliff not that far below, which is why you never see tracks there) in that traverse, should be Ski Guiding 101 : "How to chill out and relax the mind of your student-the guided" , amusing to watch now. You can hear and feel the tension and the genuine mental exhaustion, in the beginning of the run, in the young skier, who is an expert skier, just in very, unfamiliar terrain and snow conditions.

They had just skied over the off-piste route Monzabon on Zurs to the Trittalp chair and then descended the main Schindlergrat couloir into the deep powder fields below. That was followed with a Twix bar at the Valluga I station, and then journey began. It is rather intimidating and the top is steep, and the exposures fierce. It was a superb experience for the young man from NY, and much is owed to the superb guiding of Manfred, who showed great confidence in his charge.
